I’m a New York and San Francisco based matchmaker, product leader, and lifelong connector.

I’ve lived on both coasts, built friendships across cities, industries, and cultures, and somehow always become the person bringing everyone together. My friends call me the glue of our social circles. While some people keep their worlds separate, I love connecting mine. Few things make me happier than watching two people from completely different parts of my life become close.

Matchmaking grew naturally from that instinct. I’ve always had a sense for who would genuinely understand one another, not just who looks compatible on paper. Over the years, I’ve introduced several couples who went on to build long term relationships. Eventually, my friends started telling me, very directly, that I needed to do this professionally.

I hesitated at first. Calling myself a professional matchmaker felt a little pretentious. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the qualities people already trusted me for, my intuition, discretion, curiosity, and ability to bring the right people into the same room, were exactly what I wanted modern matchmaking to feel like.

Handpicked is the antithesis of a dating app and a more personal alternative to traditional matchmaking. There is no endless swiping and no reliance on a cold database. Every introduction is thoughtful, personal, and rooted in real human connection.
